Soak up our friendly service and homely charm when nestled at the heart of the Northumberland village of Ellington. Our impressive old coaching inn is the the perfect place to sit back, relax and enjoy our delicious menu with your favourite drink in hand.
We’re proud to offer a menu packed with the most appetising dishes. Our passion for taking traditional pub classics and making them the best around by using the most decadent of ingredients, makes every meal served have you coming back time and time again!
Polite notice: We only take bookings for our restaurant seats, we don’t not take bookings for drinks only or outside tables.
Dining with your dog? Our bar area is dog friendly. Please make sure to mention this when booking to make sure we seat you in the cosy open space, perfect for pooch by your side.

The Plough is host to four comfortable rooms for a place to rest your head, whether you spend your days exploring the countryside or retreating to the village. We are the perfect respite, no matter if it’s a few days or just for the night, the Plough is the place to be.
